Happy New Year! I hope you are enjoying the start of 2018, but we still need to share our last goodies of 2017. This week started out slow, but then I found a lot of holiday cards to have something to talk about.
It seems that since Christmas is over, the Christmas cards were put into the dumpster. The last time I found greeting cards, they were sold at the rummage sale for a little over $100 dollars. I decided these could be used to do the same. Most of the cards were Christmas or holidays, but there were even a few Hanukkah cards.
Fruits and Veggies
The fruits and veggies this week were plentiful. As you can see, there were some butternut squash, onions, veggie trays, broccoli, corn and cauliflower. For fruits we got apples, oranges, strawberries, and mandarins. This was quite the quantity of veggies and should keep me full of veggies for a few weeks.
This week we found 8 packages of turkey breast tenderloins which can easily go in the freezer and will make a couple nice dinners this week. There was also package of chicken, pepperoni and eggs. This should keep me in protein for a few weeks.
As the year comes to a close, comment on your best finds of the year.
